BabyKurama
It's a place of no existent, DE puts stuff there in the vault when they remove stuff from the game ( and as it was prime stuff that vanished this time it was named prime vault)Must just add - that these thing do have a change of coming back or at lest showing up for a moment Edited March 24, 2015 by BabyKurama

CaptainSlothbeard
It's just a term used for a collection Prime Warframes and weapons that have been taken out of the drop tables, but not out of the game entirely. Just like Disney has the "Disney Vault", things inside of the "Vault" can be released later for more "hype" and/or when there is a more reasonable way of including it.In this case, it seems they put Frost Prime and the prime weapons in the Prime Vault to make room for Volt Prime and it's prime weapons, without having the RNG becoming even more unbearable. Censium
It's located somewhere near Fort Knox. That's all I know.
Sni7ch
It is likely a figurative place were prime stuff goes. The parts are just taken out of circulation. To "improve" drop chances for newer items. Frost Prime, Latron Prime and the Reaper Prime are all the oldest prime things. It makes sense to take them out of circulation.
Aatrex
It's Volt Prime.

Dhrekr
A vault, but gold with different or more polarities, and a small stat buff. It's a Vault that gets 250 energy when built in proximity of a death sphere.

Archistopheles
Nah, it's a hype machine. The longer items are unable to be aquired by players, the more of a demand for them there are.
xCaptainObviousx
Now this is interesting. I found a reinforced orokin storage container after the 16.1 update today while farming for Volt P parts... and out popped a Latron P BP. I guess we can still get our hands on gear placed in the vault after all.
