I was wondering why they look like cats and not say more like panthers or tigers?

Seeing as the kubrow doesnt have a name similar to a dog the name for the catlike animal doesnt have to be like a cat just sound cool.

What about Sinmeow?? Doubtful the cat creature will meow like a cat so (Sin Meow) means without a meow in spanglish.

Since a dog is a K9, and K9 and Kubrow start with K. Why not have the "Catbrow" start with a F for Feline, since it's a cat.

 

I think they should be called a Flecia (Fleh-SHE-uh)

Does the name have to include "brow" in it?  the egyptian mythology of cat goddess might help with the brainstorm.  Or nevertheless lead to a dead end.
