Snyphurr
Nope, if you got Windows 7 or 8.1 almost everything is compatible with it. Chill out, W10IP is not a keylogger program and Microsoft is not tracking your every waking moment. I had Windows 7 Ultimate ( accidentaly installed W10IP as the main OS without any backups ;~;) and I've noticed that W10 has given me a great performance both for programs and games. There are it's bugs but they're updating it frequently and with each update it just gets better. Edited June 13, 2015 by Snyphurr
Error989
I like it, it's like an improved windows 7... tho I'd wait for the full release and I'd just upgrade it thru windows update, all your data stays as it is
Djangofett
I suggest waiting until all of the bugs and optimization issues get fixed, and until it gets stable enough.
Snyphurr
If you want to then go ahead but remember to take backups of your previous OS if you don't like it.

NyxCrab
Go and read the terms of use and service. That's only for the preview version of Windows 10 and mainly for seeing any issues that may arise in the beta version. They're not going to use it to know what your favorite kind of porn is. And yes, Windows 10 is completely worth it imo. It's faster than Windows 8.1, has a better interface, and goes back to Windows 7 style of things. Only problem is that the task bar and stuff are don't have that "See through" effect like they do in 8.1, it's just a solid bar. It's kinda lazy, but I'm sure you'll be able to change that with modifications.
egregiousRac
Go and read the terms of use and service. Go read any terms of use and service. Nothing that Microsoft says in theirs is too crazy. This is just like the anger that occurred when Valve added a clause to the Steam ToS that requires that you sue them in King County, Washington. The only reason that anyone cared was that it wasn't there before. These clauses are standard practice because the entire point of a ToS is to cover the corporation's butt against silly suits. Eda.Mone
I did, various times. You're right, it's not. I used it for quite awhile on my spare laptop and put ubuntu back onto that and left windows 7 on my desktop.

It works on the start menu and task bar already.

Snyphurr
Sixty5 got an advanced copy of Windows 10 and Warframe works better on it than on Windows 7. Yeah, it does. Before on W7U I had about 30 to 40 FPS with the same settings and drivers as before but now I get about 60 to 140 with W10.
NyxCrab
The only real problem atm with Windows 10, atleast the latest update I got, is that very few games will even launch. Most source games won't launch or they crash on start up, but Warframe still works fine.

As I said, that was from the most recent version of the Windows 10 Beta I had, which that update was a few months ago, so chances are it's already fixed, or it should be fixed by the time win 10 itself is officially released on July 29th. (PSN)Pharen
Despite what it said, windows 10 preview was a keylogger. It wasn't designed to personally identify any particular person, but it was collecting data for research, probably going to be used in a way that micro$oft can look at making products for to make money, you know what micro$oft is like. 10 full version is not a keylogger. From what I hear so far it seems good aside from having to use third party programs for functions that were previously available in older windows OS's, but I will leave judgement until the final release.
