Supra's Getting Buffed!

It's been a long, hard struggle, Tenno...but it's finally over. Double max ammo, double magazine, reload 4.2s -> 3.0s, "nearly" twice the projectile speed, and an undisclosed (slight) damage increase.

 

It's not unique, it's not especially interesting (and we've kind of been shouting for these most basic buffs for over a year, now), but a buff is a buff and these are all things that were needed.

Supra got Soma Prime treatment, as I expected.

Probably +20% damage, doubled magsize, increased ammo reserve, slight velocity buff and reload speed buff.

 

It surely is an improvement, but I expected something else tbh, that ammo reserve is not sustainable, especially with such low accuracy...

Yeah, fingers were crossed for smth like innate Punch-Through, no recoil (for low accuracy) or ammo regeneration.

edit: still better than nothing. Now it's turn to

buff Dera and the other clan tech weapons/old weapons.

Would be neat if they threw in some ammo regen, but I suppose that a standard QoL buff is still a good one. I may have to build me another Supra now.

Honestly though, I was really hoping for a streamlined ammo system rework such as all ammo in clip all the time (no reload) and introduced weapon overheat mechanic.

After this buff, Supra will be competitive with any other gun, and that's as long as you don't run out of ammo, because with such terrible accuracy it's nigh impossible to not run out.

 

Stock on pizzas, mount ammo mutation and hope your teammates will kill enough enemies to keep your ammo reserve topped.
