Bring Back He's Firing Sound!

This is unacceptable, WHY was this change made? Hek always had the most glorious thundering firing shot that really felt like it shot cannonballs.

 

NO ONE ever wished for this, even poor vaykor hek got this puny sound effect, Bring back heks sound effect!

Yeah, it got neutered hardcore... could barely hear it over lotus transmissions.

 

Ain't gonna lie, almost every time they've adjusted weapon sounds especially grineer stuff, it's been for the worse.

I just don't understand the reasoning behind the nerf. Were there people complaining that it was too loud? I just want to know why, it seems like the strangest thing to change when we have sharkwing missions still bugging out on Uranus.

they always change stuff. ALWAYS.

And they always give some reason about adding some new stuff, etc, etc.

And this always brings up the question of why not trying to reproduce the original in this new system.

And that always doesnt get answered.

In WF the number one rule is to never get used to anything.

Maybe the sound of the Hek was to good for us, so better nerf the sound.

Lotus forbid they actually try to improve upon the old sound, instead of completely changing it to something that doesn't match the gun AT ALL.

 

Seriously, I understand wanting to rework it for the new sound system, but why change the sound entirely? Now the sound clips halfway through, and it makes my speakers sound like they're about to blow out. It's also muffled at the start and buzzy at the end, so it sounds like you're firing water out of your Quad-Barrel at all times.
