Need Help Figuring Out How To Get Plat For Trading Prime Parts

Hello, I've just started playing the game a bit more seriously and I've realized I need to find a way to make some platinum in order to buy more slots for weapons and, more importantly, warframes. I have discovered that it is possible to trade prime parts for platinum, but I am not yet sure how much certain parts are worth. Therefore, I am wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction or at least tell me where I could see the worth of at least some prime parts. Thank you in advance, fellow Tenno! ~ =)

I typically don't trust trading sites for prices on what to buy or sell prime parts for, since the free market nature of trading in Warframe can cause things to fluctuate wildly. I'd honestly suggest testing the waters yourself as well as observing what prices other people post about in the in-game trade chat and the forums trade post.

Look at the trade chat for 1 hour you'll see pretty much everything that's worth something... Rest are mostly 1-20 plat.

I don't use trading site like those because that argument with newbie piss me off o3o "But on that trade site I'm using it says that price."

It's free market... player can sell very low or very high it doesn't matter.

Never use websites to base your prices. Either you'll get ripped off or you'll have a selling price that is too high.

 

Easiest way to find out about price of your items. Is by literally saying "WTB: X item" when you get offers, you'll see general price and you can work from there.

Some prime parts aren't as valued as others though, so don't be mad you try to sell a Paris Prime BP for 200p and no one bites lol. If you need specific pricing the prime parts/mods you have, you can PM me. I'll be glad to help!

It's 'hidden' in the PC Recruitment section of the forums.

 

Here you can search for the items you're considering selling and see prices other players are actually offering those items for.

Well, You can either stalk the Trade section of the Forums, like Darzk said, or just stalk Trade Chat, look for what you want to sell, and gather prices based on what they're putting out. If possible, try to go even cheaper than the competitors (But that's optional. Only reason I tend to do it is because that if I'm selling something lower than everybody else, more people will hook to me than the other guy. Even 5p can make a difference at times)

Warframe Trading is very out of date, and has been (at least it was a couple of months ago when I last checked it).

 

Stalking Trade chat is usually too tedious a task to be doing, and asking around usually doesn't yield any solid results; you're better off going to Warframe Market, as has been suggested.
