artemisfortune Posted January 13, 2016 Share Posted January 13, 2016 I made a game demo, I did it for a programming boot camp class I just graduated, We had 3 weeks to do it, My dumb &#! decided it was a great idea to use Nuclear Throne as the inspiration for the art, 3 weeks come around and we demo it for companies, It went great, Later my team of two other people say they want to monetize, Great idea, The art looks just like a nuclear throne clone, I have to redo all the art, I'm not an artist. like if you cry everytime. In all seriousness, I've been super stressed out about getting a job, and now I've been trying to redo like, 85% of our art assets into my own style, and I don't have the first clue to making walk cycles or any kind of animation beyond using a reference. bejuizb Posted January 13, 2016 Share Posted January 13, 2016 Hang in there bud. I'd suggest looking at how people walk for coming up with a walk cycle for yourself.
