How Much Levels On Vile Acceleration?

I want to use the Vile acceleration on my Dread, but don't want to take away too much damage. How much levels would you guys suggest?

Anything below rank 4 is a waste since Speed Trigger gives that same amount without losing any damage.

Full, as the only real point is to stack it. The loss in damage is fairly minimal if you intend to gain a lot faster fire rate. Although I personally only use it on Opticor.

You can make up for the loss of damage per shot by the faster rate of fire (i.e.) you can get more shots off in a segment of time). It's a good trade off, especially if stacked with certain weapons.

Take it to full, because your firerate will mitigate the damage loss

just max it wen u put 2 element 90% and heavy calibar mx -15%u will not notice and u will increse greatlly use of bow

Use it full man, yes you lose damage but with bows you're hitting enemies generally with huge amounts of over kill damage anyway ( unless you're against level 100+ enemies )

eg. Whats the point of hitting an enemy for 89,000 when it only has 1,200hp?

It's not like it's a 15% reduction to your final damage or something. It basically turns your Serration into "+150% damage" instead of "+165% damage", which amounts to about a ~6% reduction in damage per shot. That's completely worth it for a large boost in fire rate on most weapons.

I love putting all the fire rate mods on machine gun type weapons for fun (Shred, Speed Trigger and Vile Acceleration).  The sound is orgasmic.

 

And yeah, max Vile Acceleration if you use it, the damage loss is acceptable compared to the overall increase in sustained dps.
