Vegas1012
Original thread was just for Paris Prime but now the issue seems to be with all/most of my weaponsDoing very low damage (especially for crits) even with maxed crit mods and high level damage. Used to get one hit kills on almost everything but now getting damage as low as 46 on a yellow crit on lvl 20 enemies. Paris was my go to primary fix dis pls. :IEDIT: The issue seems to be with all/most of my weapons now. Tonkor is doing 86 damage on yellow crits (direct hit). Boltor doing 16 damage per hit. EDIT: Tonkor magically fixed it self but paris is still weakI think the problem is one of these 3:1. Bug that lowers overall damage2. Bug that lowers overall crit damage3. Bug that makes the game think all my weapons are level 1/low level. And no i don't have a dragon key equipped
--Sokol
Make sure your game didn't switch mod configuration from A to B or vice vers (basically make sure you do have mods equipped), make sure you aren't testing your damage with Ancient healers nearby and make sure you don't have grustrag bolt on you while fighting grineer. taiiat
aforementioned already covers everything. you either have the wrong Mods/no Mods equipped, wearing an Extinguished Key.... or you're shooting at an Enemy as your only testing metric that deliberately reduces Damage dealt, like a Juggernaut, Sentient, Alcoloyte.... Et Cetera.

Rydian
Hm, what missions are you seeing this problem in? Try a low-level Corpus mission on Venus?
Sh0ck-Wave
Put a config in each slot, A B and C to make sure it's not picking an empty one. I had that happen to me before an event which rendered my melee useless, which sucked because it was a melee only mission :) Alternatively, select 'no' weapon for primary and secondary and exit to the Liset nav screen, then go back in and select a new weapon and configure it up. Damn i hoped that would work. But it wouldnt make sense since i only have 1 config on my tonkor and it somehow managed to fix itself. Rydian
all missions. just did a lvl20 corpus mission and got 2000dmg on yellow crits which is very low :/ Well, your build will do about that much on some hits, that's what it's set up like. Your build has a base damage of (426+10+71)= 507 damage. Remove Split Chamber to see the actual damage per arrow. Split Chamber is a chance to fire a second shot, so you have a 25% chance to fire one arrow doing 507 damage (which would be a 2230 crit), and a 75% chance to fire two arrows which (if both of them hit the same enemy) would do 4461 damage. With Split Chamber equipped the damage numbers in the arsenal show the averaged damage with that chance. So like, 75% of the bonus damage is around 886, which is what your 746+17+145 arsenal numbers show.

Rydian
So youre saying that me getting 23k yellow crits and 60k reds before this was a bug? If we assuming you're hitting Ferrite armor (basic Grineer) with a headshot, the puncture part of the damage is +50%, so (639+10+71)=720 base damage, you could fire two arrows for 1,440, if they both crit on a headshot that's (1,440 * 4.4 *2 *2)=25,344 yellow crit damage. So yes, you could deal 25K damage or more. But you could also deal 2.2K damage or less if they resist puncture. Which body part you hit, whether split chamber makes a second arrow or not, if both or one arrow hits the head, and elemental weaknesses/resistances can really add variance to the damage. For more reliable damage on that bow, Forma it so you can get Split Chamber to max and add some elements for more base damage.

That is cool and all but ALL of my hits used to do a standard of 20k damage, on EVERYONE and i dont think i was getting headshots every single time i shot someone for such a long time. Take off your Extinguished Dragon Key Read the post ffs

You either swapped out some weapons/mods without realizing it, aren't remembering properly, or it's been a really long time since you played (Update 11 changed the damage system). What I said holds true, and the way your bow is modded the damage is highly variable.

Rydian
If numbers were higher, than you were using a different modding setup on a different weapon or something.
