Of those two, I'd prefer to get Saryn. Oberon isn't worth getting since he's not that great. His damage is real low, his heal his a little better then a well of Life from Trinity, but he can be fun to play.

If you want damage, go for Saryn, she's got nice utility, and high damage. Oberon has a heal and can remove status procs.

If you're looking into other frames after those, I'd recommend getting Ivara and Rhino

It depends on what you want.

Saryn is now a synergy poisonous flower, combining her powers to melt down her opponents.

While Oberon is a radiant paladin, smiting his enemies with force while healing his allies.

At least that's how I see them. It all depends on your style.

Gonna defend Broberon a bit here :P

His damage certainly is not low, his Smite can reach a damage total of

nearly 3000 with just Transient Fortitude, or even 4000 if you merely add Intensify

(in addition to the knockdown + confusion + damage reduction effects, mind you)

and his Reckoning still deals decent damage in a line-of-sight-ignoring radius

even with all its additional non-damage effects (knockdown + confusion + blind + Health Orb spawns).

To say Renewal is a slightly better Well of Life is both insulting and mechanically inaccurate,

Well of Life requires you to (be in range to) shoot / be aware of a WoL'd enemy to receive limited healing

while Renewal is usually a full heal that requires no further input from the injured Squad members,

it can remove status effects and even slow down the Bleedout timer.

Hallowed Ground could use some looking at but creating an

armor buff + status immunity + (stackable) enemy damage zone isn't too terrible.

Oberon is a really good all-rounder, offering a little bit of everything

(except mobility powers but lol @ those in Parkour 2.0),

which may make him pale in comparison to more specialized Frames

but also means he can hold his own well enough in any mission.

Broberon Prime 2016, feel the hype!
