^ DE is currently trying to fix issues like this they talked about it in last dev stream about intergrating the lore into warframe more because unless your there for certain events you can miss out on a lot of information

As far as we know, the cure was only going to work in his special case because he wasn't fully infested and completely part of the hive mind either. That, and it's possible it was tailored to his particular genetics in order to be more effective, so it's not likely him sharing it would help against the infestation, and we've yet to run into a situation like his.
