The Panthera

Why De why D:

No crits

Low status

Low starting damage

Incredibly hard to hit moving targets becasue of the thin projectile

No innate punch through so after it hits its first target it'll fly into the air.

Its over a year old can we please have some improvements

I think the Miter is better than this.

Thats probably the worst thing. The Panthera is worse than a weapon it needs to be crafted.

I both love and hate to use the it, so a buff to is would be extremely welcome.

Personally I just mod this thing for pure damage and use the alt fire to rip through hordes of infested on lower level nodes.

Outside of that it's largely useless. The slow projectile speed + rare weapon crafting component really ought to be more worthwhile.

The gun is a joy to use when it's actually effective.

Agreed. At least miter can easily reach 100% status chance and has better damage (and drops from a boss fight, making it slightly harder to obtain than most weapons),

why should I sacrifice my miter to downgrade it?

Imo, there's no point for panthera other than the chainsaw feeling, which isn't useful on high levels (going to create another just to see if i can get something good from it)

I haven't used it in a while, but if I remember correctly, it was a pain to craft, and the outcome was disappointing

Primary fire is meh, although the battle saw of death is pretty good, decent vs infested. But that's about it sadly. A bit of love, and I think t would be one of the most fun weapons in the game
