The sharp cut off at the seams of the skin makes it seem like it was simply an oversight when the tintmasks were made during PBR. (I am edgy.) It's also worth noting that on that shot of Mag, there are 3 separate accent/secondary color zones. The light tan strips, the dark brown on the waist, and the knee/shoulder "pads."
