MobyTheDuck
Dunno if this was intented (since itsnt on the patch notes), but the Simulor is acting weird after the patch. The energy balls wont explode if you shoot one into another like they did, now they seem to have a delay where they just orbit around each other for a while, then may explode after 3 or 4 shots (with Split Chamber). Sometimes even with 4 shots (again with Spilt Chamber), they wont create a vortex and just make a regular explosion. Sometimes they do make a vortex, but it is invisible. And when using it with Mirage, the copies' shots wont merge or explode at all, they just keep floating around uselessly, but they block or pull the shots of the main Mirage, making it way harder to make an explosion and overloading the screen with a bunch of glowing balls. IceColdHawk
...and when having low fps, you shoot them in a heavily decreased range...like only 3m away..
ZepiaEltnam
Lets hope it is a bug and not a stealh nerf...
MobyTheDuck
Looking around the forum, seems to be a client/host + fps problem. Using it solo makes it work as it should, but using it as a client makes the orb stall and a lot of the effects are somehow tied to your framerate now. WakaFlockaVeli
i also posted about this issue. It is fine if you are the host. But when you join another players game is when it happens. As he says the orbs just float and do not collide to create a stackable damage vortex. You pretty much fire an entire clip to get the gun to work right. Hopefully this will be fixed and not forgotten.
HeavenFall
Same bug here. Work fine playing solo, but S#&$ goes wrong when i group. Orb don't fuse anymore
DirtyBerd
Yeah I have the same issue. When I host or play solo it works fine but if I join a match it takes at least 4 shots to get the vortex to start. It used to only take two. I hope it's not a nerf. Hackman_8
Just recently Got Synoid Simulor just before the update and with split chamber it would create a vortex after just 2 shots. But now after the 18.5 update it takes 4 shots even with split chamber and there is not an explosion until 3 orbs collide.
