Shadow Step doesnt work !!!

I just spent my hardly earned 100k Focus points to unlock the Naramon len and the Shadow Step passive but it doesnt work at all. It was on RED, I tried to reactivate it multiple times but didnt give any different result. Please tell me what have I done wrong...

umm did you activate shadow step? you need to click it and it should be red i believe. then it will be active.

Yes I did, it was red, I maybe stupid but Im not colorblind. I even tried it with black.

Take High Melee Crit Chance Weapons, Tekko is best has Highest Crit in game as Melee weapon

You have to use your fifth ability first then the passives will be active throughout the mission

"Passive" is kinda.. lie. Trigger ze power and after that you will have it for the rest of the mission. I will not say "use that melee", since I do trigger Shadowstep with Galatine. That sword is not the queen of crits, yet she is able to do it with relative ease.

Sorry for necroing this im on ps4 have it ranked to 3 activate my 5th crit all the time and it never activates. What am i doing wrong?

Did you set Naramon as your primary Focus?

Yup does the melee weapon have to have a lense as well or can i get away with it just on my frame?
