Weaponry! Felior - Tenno Rapier Base Damage: 35 (armor piercing) Base fire:1.2 Charge Damage: 100 Charge Speed: 0.6 Special: Charge attacks include a short dash (about 4 meters) Grineer Shotguns Wadjet- a light shotgun used by Yellow Grineer Soldiers. It has very long range (for a shotgun) and large magazine, but low damage. Apophis- if the Boar is the assault rifle of shotguns, this is the HMG. Sprays huge clouds of weak shot, but deals great DPS at close range. The Apophis would be used by a new class of Heavy Gunner. The Scallywag Sentinel (from the Space Pirate thread) Weapon Sentinel shotgun Unique power Treasure Sweep: When enough resources/mods/pickups are on the ground The Scallywag sweeps the area picking them up. Higher levels increases sweep range and frequency. If a Warframe has full energy and ammo the Scallywag will only make a Treasure sweep if there are mods/resources A silly boss design Every game needs a silly cheese hat. GTG3000
Yeah, corpus tech is rather silly right now... I mean, I can see how grineer biggies are taller because of being inplanted so much, but corpus are all indoctrinated humans, did they accidentally indoctrinate some spacemarines or something? Tulzscha
Well done, I like your concepts for the Corpus Tech and the bullpup riot shotgun. That Apophis kinda reminds of me of a Pancor Jackhammer. The current Corpus Techs need some intimidating armor to set them apart from the crewmen...right now they look really goofy genetically modified 7 foot giants in the same space suits, just in a different color. ValhaHazred
Although I voted for the Anti-matter frame, I didn't hate the idea of Necro (It was my third choice after Berserker) so I was thinking about what could have been. Here's what I would do. Sepulchre Health: great Armor: low Shields: low Speed: good Energy: good Sepulchre is designed to terrify and demoralize opponents, and uses nanotechnology, stores of specially treated calcium and plasma holograms to attack their foes. 1. Bone shards: Sepulchre flings a shotgun like blast of hardened calcium fragments. It doesn't have damage drop like normal shotguns. 2. Vampiric aura: Sepulchre releases a cloud of flesh eating nanites. Any enemy entering their vicinity will slowly lose it’s life and grant it to Sepulchre. 3. Skeletal Servant: Using their on-board nanite factory and calcium stores, Sepulchre creates a small bony creature that attacks their enemies. Basically a decoy that deals damage. 4. Wraith storm: Sepulchre releases a large number of ghostly plasma holgrams that home in on their enemies. Each does massive damage but can only attack once before dissolving. RahuHordika
Nanomachines, son. But yeah, I think Necro could have been pretty viable with this kind of concept.
ValhaHazred
Yeah, I thought it would be fine as long as it wasn't a minion-mancer. We already have Nyx. I added the Summon Skeleton power as a compromise, but that's only one at a time.
Krauserlols
i like the CHEEEEEESE hat and also the new Corpus design would look pretty good. Or maybe another unit
GratuitousLurking
Love the Grineer shotguns and Scallywag. Perhaps I could prod you to look up the thread that had the Mako shotgun design? There was a few nice shotguns in that thread that could work well for drawing practice.

Lady_Khaos
I would pay for that to be the new Corpus Tech. You know, more than I already have put into this game. Sepulchre too. That sounds like it would be sooo fun. Edited June 14, 2013 by Khaos_Zand3r
ValhaHazred
Love the Grineer shotguns and Scallywag. Perhaps I could prod you to look up the thread that had the Mako shotgun design? There was a few nice shotguns in that thread that could work well for drawing practice. I'm working at it, but the Tenno weapon style is haaaard. So have some Corpus shotguns in the mean time! Ashra - Fires 4 very powerful but slow moving energy balls. Although it doesn't have spread exactly, the projectiles drift randomly making long range shots difficult. Can fire 8 times before reloading. Chama - At it's most basic functionality it works like a traditional shotgun, spraying a wide cone of pew pews with damage falloff. However, if the firing stud is held down the shot "core" is launched from the barrel. When the stud is released it detonates the core, releasing the pew pew spread. WARNING: if the core touches anything before detonating it destabilizes, wasting the ammo. Can fire once before reloading. Ohma - A burst fire energy "shotgun". It fires 3 plasma tori with every trigger pull. The rings 'pop' when they touch anything, dealing damage directly and creating small explosions randomly along the ring. The rings expand with distance traveled, making it difficult to use in tight corridors. Can fire 5 bursts of 3 (15 ammo) before reloading. I have no idea if any of these are even programmable, but we need more interesting mechanics.
ValhaHazred
Some guns - both suggested by MJ12 HYDRA Damage: 2.0 (not a typo) x 9 (I drew too many barrels) Rate: 30.0 Magazine: 180 Reload Time: 6.0 seconds default Accuracy: Mid-Low (depending on burst length) Recoil: Mid-High Special: It has a spin-down time. It will not fire for less than 0.3 seconds (9 rounds) no matter what you do. If you hold it down for a prolonged period this spin-down time increases, to a maximum of 2 seconds. After firing a burst it needs a short period of time to cool, so firing in bursts to maximize accuracy and minimize overkill will reduce its DPS significantly. MAKO DESCRIPTION: The MAKO shotgun is designed specifically for the Tenno, as not even the reinforced limbs of Grineer Heavy Gunners can withstand the punishing recoil without severe damage. Firing mono-edge arrowheads, the Mako has minimal damage falloff and can maim targets at extreme ranges but its relatively low accuracy prevents fully taking advantage of this. Damage: 20 x 10 pellets (no damage falloff) Rate: 5.0 Magazine: 2 Reload Time: 3.0 seconds Accuracy: Low Recoil: Extreme (firing a second shot within 1s of the first shot will knock you down, in fact). Special: Firing the Mako causes you to slide back a meter or two, and knocks you down if the second shot is fired within 1 second of the first shot. Don't those sound fun? And now my Berserker inspired concept, the HELLION Health: good Armor: good Shields: ok, average recharge Speed: fast Energy: poor Skills 1 - Dynamic Entry - Hellion launches himself into a flying kick. When he connects with anything he generates a large explosion. 2 - Brimstone Mag - Hellion loads a specially designed magazine that teleports matter directly from his power core. The weapon in his hands will not pull from his ammo pool and will not have to reload. It also deals extra fire damage. 3 - Implosion - The reverse of a Corpus Shockwave attack. A blue ring appears and draws inwards, knocking Hellions enemies inwards towards him. 4 - Berserk - Hellion detonates in a powerful fiery explosion of pure psychic hate. The initial explosion deals heavy damage in a very small radius, he gains regeneration and his melee attacks explode for several seconds. And no, I don't think Hellion would be redundant with Ember, Anti-matter and my own Solaris. They can be the Boom Squad. Edit: Rear view - Oh jeeze, I somehow erased the doobly-doo holding his power cord in place. Oh well you can still kinda see it. Lady_Khaos
Oh my god. O.O I would love to use the Mako and Hellion (with Abaddon which looks awesome) With the Brimston Mag I could imagine it putting some sort of aura/particle effect+glow around the weapon. GunmanRex
These are some great drawings and ideas. But I have a slight problem with the Hellion, if it is supposed to be a berserker type thing, shouldn't it be all about damage and speed with less health and armor then normal, though this is more of a personal nit picky thing. ValhaHazred
Actually, that's a good point Gunman. I'll make him faster and take his armour down a bit. I was thinking Dynamic Entry would be enough for getting into fights, but there are probably lots of situations where being just a bit faster would be important. Oh my god. "I don't know, but I think it wants a hug!" Health: poor Armor: poor Shields: ok, fast recharge Speed: great Energy: great Powers 1. Lash - P.O. lashes out with both tentacle arms in a wide arc infront of them. 2. Grapple - P.O. makes a flying tackle, smashing all in their path. If the power doesn't deal enough damage to instantly kill something in their way, P.O. instead latches on and crushes them, dealing massive damage. 3. From Beyond - P.O. summons a sticky spore that grows into a tentacle. It can telekinetically pull nearby enemies to it and then slaps them away with a powerful knockdown attack. Works as a decoy to boot. 4. Call Great Old One - P.O. is buddies with horrid creatures from beyond space and time.
