DMG 2.0 recap *comeback to game*

Question

Hi, I have left the game for quite some time now, i think about a year?. I came back to play it once more with my buddies due to them moaning all day about clan is dying lol.
I may have forgotten alot of stuff. But mainly i wanna know the elements/dmg 2.0 first for each faction. My A = Grineer, B = Corpus, C = Infested, for Void = i forgot which set A/B/C i use just swap one of the mod in  each primary/secondary/melee.

As general, I do remember that

Grineer weak to
( Radiation=[Fire+Elettric] and Viral=[Ice+Poison] )
Corpus weak to
( Magnetic=[Ice+Eletric] and Toxin only? [im not sure if they weak to Gas or not cause if they do i just wanna mix it on my Boltor Prime-B. )
Infested+void creature weak to
( Blast=[Fire+Ice] and Corrosive=[Fire+Eletric] )
so notify me if there any changes.

Second, i wanna know what mod people run on their frames nowadays that work best. This is what I own currently

( Blast=[Fire+Ice] and Corrosive=[Fire+Eletric] )Not blast but viral. You're fighting literally only health so halving that health is extremely helpful.

Underlined stuff is what you should know. Switch all Energy Siphons for Corrosive Projection, Oberon to CP, Zephyr to CP. Dont care for Limbo so idk him. Dont play Loki enough to give a good idea for him. As for Mirage that's jsut one build dont feel like showing the other 2 but 1 is for Total eclipse which would involve like an R6 Narrow Minded and a Stretch in place of consitution. Then the other build is blind mirage which is just max range then build some strength.

Sorry but I stopped at Oberon was getting tiresome. Trin has an EV and a bless build EV involves max Str+range and -duration. Bless is max duration with a quick thinking.

Valkyr should be max strength and duration, no range whatsoever.

Your element builds are still essentially the most effective builds for their respective factions.

As for the frame builds, they are mostly preference, but for Ember and Valkyr, you should read up on the wiki about the changes to channeled abilities. If you've been gone for a while, you may not have heard about their ults now being channeled. Channel abilites now also scale with duration, with approximately 50% effectiveness as efficiency.

For example, their abilities drain 10 e/s. With 150% efficiency and 100% duration, they will drain 5 e/s. With 100% efficiency and 150% duration, they will drain 7.5 e/s. With 150% duration and efficiency, they will drain 2.5 e/s.

Radiation + Viral for Grinner. If you have 4 Corrosive Projection are have mods that strip armor, such as Sonic Fracture, than you want to go with Viral, because they have no armor for Radiation to deal more damage. If you can only fit one elemental combo, go with Radiation to deal with those Napalms and Bombards easier, Viral if you want 4 CPs or armor stripping augment.

And yes, Magnetic + Toxin (Or gas) is good for corpus, but it's gotten to the point that you would need corrosive or some damage type more useful agaisn't armor because the Bursas can be really annoying.

And for void and Infested you would want Corrosive + Fire. Corrosive if you can only fit one element and viral + fire if you have 4 CP's

And now on to the frames...

Ember Prime. I would probably throw out Blind for Trans Fort and only use a r3 Fleeting. Firequake would be a good addition to your build, it's situational though.

Frost Prime. Natural Talent isn't really useful IMO on Frost. You could probably replace it with the snowglobe augment if you're fighting infested, or Armored Agility against everything else.

Limbo. I don't know about him too much to give a good suggestion.

Loki Prime. Only thing I gotta say about your build is that Rush should be replaced with Irritated Disarm, and you're golden... Get the joke? Ah, I'm terrible.

Mirage. Same as Limbo, don't use enough.

Nekros. If you use Nekros as a farmer, go with Despoil, if not, use Shield of Shadows. Make space for either of the two.

Nova. You could probably ditch Blind Rage, because you need Fleeting to counteract the efficiency loss, which would destroy her duration. And her M Prime needs that.

Oberon. Don't use him enough.

Trinity. Max range and strength for EV Trin (QT and Rage optional), Bless Trin go for max duration, QT and Rage required.

Valkyr. Just pack on the duration and you're good...

Zeyphr. Don't play with her enough, but I'm pretty sure Heavy Impact isn't a good choice for her.

Toxin bypass shield, Gas proc deal toxin damage in AoE. So gas is viable on high status. Also corpus get a few armored unit of their own and magnatic is bad against armor, so keep that in mind.

Also there're Sentient now(Very small amount of encounter). These lots will gain resistance to damage you use against them. Idea is to forced you to bring multiple damage type into mission. My R.Cernos doesn't care though.

Thanks all. Il will redo all these soon. So about corpus countered elements then, what changes should i do other than input corrosive in?
example if Im using my boltor prime, what good mods now inuse? still 2 element proc or ? Im outside now, so I forgot what mod i ran in the rifle other
than mix elements.

Right I played my fav Valkyr just now and notice her hysteria act differently. its more like toggle skill, and it drains the mana every sec. so apart from that, is there any difference? i do feel i can only hysteria for just seconds now. instead of minutes, like before. based on my mod, is all the same? or should i change something?

should I follow AGGP Hysteria? i notice there no narrow minded.

"Youtubers" guides are a good start for newbies but after that it's best to learn for yourself that they are rarely right as to what's really the best thing to use. Always remember they aren't you so they don't know your personal play style.

I'll share with you my build. It brings Hysteria's cost to about 1.27 e/s. The new Hysteria can effectively have infinite duration so long as you get energy orbs, so I don't maximize duration; just enough to stack up Warcry's augment. It's by no means the greatest build for Hysteria, but I don't focus on using it anyways since I find it boring to use. Also forgot to mention that Hysteria now scales fully with Melee mods. I suggest using a Berserker crit viable weapon. I use a Karyst with Covert Lethality on top of a standard berserker build since it allows Hysteria to OHK with Paralysis, though it makes the dagger itself much weaker than it could be.

wait so we dont need rage and blind rage anymore?

well my main melee is scindo prime with
Fury, Berseker, Buzzkill, pressurepoint, true steel, focus energy and any 2 gold element mod.

You can use them, but I don't find myself energy deficient for Rage, and since my build is centered around Warcry instead of Hysteria, I don't use Blind Rage so I can keep my efficiency nominal. Using Hysteria with my build and pseudo crit dagger, I get upwards of 40k damage per swing with something along the order of 8 swings per second, so I can't complain with its power and energy efficiency.

Since Hysteria has balanced damage across the Pdmg types, you're losing a little bit of damage with Buzzkill over a standard elemental mod, though it's not really enough to warrant losing damage on the Scindo to compensate considering how strong Hysteria is either way. I'd recommend trading your Focus Energy for an Organ Shatter if you want to maximize Hysteria damage while using Scindo.
