Question

best weapons, complimentary mods, etc, to go with this particular mod:

latest?cb=20150705065627

rules:

  • keep play styles in mind.
  • keep availability in mind.
  • weapon stats are important.
  • primary weapon has to be a shotgun for this mod to work.
  • all answers welcome; the rules are more like guidelines than actual rules.

literally useful on all of the Primary Shotguns in the game, sooo...

you're going to get people telling you they like it on this or that Shotgun, totaling up to all of the Shotguns that exist.

I was kind of hoping people would give play style reason's for why they like a particular one.

because Punch-Through lets your Spreadshot Weapon hit dozens or hundreds of Enemies per Shot instead of just one or two. and shoot through walls.
that's pretty much always the reason why anyone that Equips Punch-Through is doing so.

Mostly don't use it, since I prefer Seeking Force for almost all shotguns.

There are two exceptions, however: The Sancti Tigress and the Sobek.

The Tigress due to the mechanics of the duplex trigger. I want it up and running as much as possible, so the reload speed of Seeking Fury is an advantage. I miss the extra punchthrough, but the reduced reload time just makes the gun more usable. Also, the radial proc helps offset loss of damage multiplication with the lower punchthrough.

The Sobek due to the outrageous reload time on it. Seeking Fury makes it somewhat more tolerable and the fact it has strong AoE effects from both the syndicate mod and Acid Shells covers any loss of punchthrough as compared to Seeking Force.
