0 KirukaChan
As far as I know, the number of enemy spawns scales up with more players, which would create more drops overall. Not 100% sure though, maybe someone else can confirm?

0 Tenedranox
It depends what u want to farm. For resources its suggested to play with a group, because therefore more enemies will spawn. When u like to farm some mission reward related stuff it depends on the mission. Some missions like interception are designed for teams, or defenses can be quite hard alone (also in a team it can be faste because of certain team comps), but missions like survival or exterminate it doesnt matter at all for u efficiency. Overall i would say its more rewarding gameplay-wise to play with a team, because ur are more likely to handle hard situations and its more fun to play in a team (imo, because of team comps)
0 Zardbooster
The amount of spawns does in fact increase with the number of players, at least for the endless missions, and it will of course affect the amount of drops. They showed some statistics of the spawns in the endless missions on a devstream once, that's where i got my info.
0 Manyc
Maybe when you played with said groups you mention, on of the could have had a Resource Drop Chance Booster, which affects the whole mission, giving the benefits to the whole Squad in the process. So yea, you could give priority to farm resources as a groups (specially because you can't get a Nekros, a Hydroid (and more like Speed Nova) together while on solo :P because those speed up the process). 0 ThunderZsolt
if you farm affinity/focus, also farm in a group, because as others said more players -> more enemies -> more affinity
0 Tomppak
Farming in groups is more rewarding. More affinity and more drops for the same amount of time (or often faster!), and you can usually tackle harder tasks with a group than alone. This is especially true in void: using 1 void key to do 1 mission is inefficient if you want to farm a specific reward drop from that mission - you should consider doing a keyshare, which means that in a group of 4 players, each uses the same void key once. This way, you practically get 4 uses out of your 1 key, resulting in 4 times the rewards. There are also things which are considerably easier to accomplish in groups versus doing them along: For example, Moon "tests", derelict missions (opening a vault basically requires a group of 4 because you need 4 different keys to ensure you can open it), defense, interception, survival (more enemies = more life support drops) excavations, etc. Basically: If you can do it in a group, do it in a group. Only run solo if you're farming spy missions and don't want randoms to mess it up, or if you're doing something special (trying out new stuff, scanning targets and farming standing with the scanner, etc) which will take time.
