(PSN)ChiefStevy
If a mod gives 1.2 punch through, which does the 1.2 do? Does it represent the distance the bullet will punch through? The number of enemies the bullet will punch through? The damage decay that will the bullet will deal to the enemies behind?
0 Naftal
It means 1.2 meter punch through.
0 (PSN)A_SimpleName
There is no damage decay, except for shotgun, due to distance or penetration. However, how far your bullet penetrates after hitting a surface is determine by punch through. For your example, 1.2 punch through = 1.2 meters. For referencing, IIRC a shield lancer shield is about 0.1 meter when looking at it side view. (i.e. The shield thickness is 0.1 meter.) Some weapons do have innate punch through. Here's a description taken from the Wiki... http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Punch_Through "Punch Through distance only counts the total depth of solid material, ignoring any empty space it passes through. For example, for a listed Punch Through distance of 1.8 meters, a weapon's projectile would be able to pass through two 0.9 meter-thick barriers or three 0.6 meter-thick barriers in its path to the target, all while ignoring any open air it travels through. Once the maximum Punch Through distance has been traveled, or the projectile encounters a surface too thick to penetrate, the projectile stops normally." As far as I know, punch through doesn't do any damage decay whatsoever.

I meant no damage decay due to distance except for shotgun. No damage decay at all due to penetration. I was thinking at too many things at the same time. :)
0 Troll_Logic
It's fun when you are standing behind a double locked door waiting on another player and you kill everything on the other side.
