Now that we're getting a Tigris Prime, can we get an alt-fire for the Tigris?

I believe if you hold left-click or whatever your primary fire is after your first shot without releasing it will pause it and will refuse to fire the second shot until you release the button which may seem a tad convoluted but is relatively easy and makes it so if you would prefer the single shot you can do that without adding in more random features which can interfere with others' gameplay. The Tigris shouldn't be changed just because someone "doesn't like it" or "it isn't in other games". Who cares whether it is in other games? It's in Warframe. And Warframe is the game we are all here to play. 

It makes the gun unique, and regardless of why it initially was part of the gun, it has become a hallmark part of what the weapon is. 

You should not even have an option to change how the Tigris fire works. It should be the current way it works period. 

There are other good shotguns to use and lots of weapons if you don't like the style/feel of one, that's one of the great things about this game. This really is a situation of "don't like it don't use it". Even if you want an OP syndicate shotgun you also have the Vaykor Hek. 

No need to change a classic because some people who were never Tigris fans before the OP syndicate boomstick was released don't like the mechanics of it. 

 

What I see here is an attitude that seems inherently selfish -- the syndicate weapon comes out, all superpowered, and suddenly a bunch of people who never liked the gun before are using it, and lobbying hard to basically make it a completely different weapon. Because they want the OP power without the actual way the gun works... ludicrous. 

You don't like the gun let people who enjoy it have it, use something else. Hundreds of weapons in this game.
