Use the backflip function to avoid melee!

Question

I see lots of complaints on how melee is causing issues in conclave, but I think a large number of them are simply due to players not understanding the warframe movement system and how to quickly gain distance on an opponent.

Zhandragon recently posted this guide, which is a nice demonstration.

Here's a one maneuver solution that players seem to not be aware of: the Backflip. Zhandragon demonstrates this while in the air as part of that demo. By simultaneously aiming + backwards + roll, your frame does a backflip, gaining tremendous distance from the opponent while maintaining the crosshair position so you can immediately start shooting afterwards.

Please stop feeding the Jat Kittag. Backflip away + shoot it!

If you, the player, neglect to use all mobility tools such as Back Flip, Side Roll, Front Roll, and Slide while trying to use basic Bullet Jump you're playing the game wrong. Even players who Bunny hop or solely use Roll and Slide utilize the rest of the tools, as listed before, in every match; maybe not as much as mobility crazed players but they use it to fit their needs.
