Sometimes I do get syndicate medallions in the Parkour room.  The Void has not been a place to do syndicate missions for very long, so i do not have much to based it on, but I have not found one beyond the closing door.

Caches and fragments and rare crates can spawn there, and medallions spawn in the same places, so yes - they should.

Yeah, I've had that before. As soon as you enter the parkour room just complete it, then go back and collect the stuff you want.
