Rage on excaliber yes or nah?

Rage and lifestrike with Excalibur is a really good build . i would recommend adding vitality and increasing Excal's power strength, ,maybe to 170%

Rage will ensure you can always use Life Strike to Self Heal, that's basically what it's for on Excalibur.

it also lets you quickly build up the Energy to turn on your Machine Gun Ability too, i guess.

I suggest including Quick Thinking if you can't get the melees. It feeds itself.

Rage 'n' Quick Thinking, just take damage to not take damage until you're out of batteries, then add Energy Siphon for extra longevity.

Is pretty viable from my experience, but sometimes can fall short if you don't have, say, a Primed mod that adds more energy.

banshee is good at her own role but she is very squishy and can be easily one-shotted

Yes. I use this combo on all Warframes and melees to be honest.
