Actually it was the couple's own dojo, but they may have been given early access to the item, as Rebecca said that they had been messaging back and forth for several months before today. That sounds plausible since individual clans already have their own unique permissions when it comes to Dojo decorations (e.g. Event Trophies) so if the public build of the game already has that and we just aren't allowed to place it yet then I imagine it would be easy enough for Rebecca to give their clan early permission.
