How do the Orokin Principle challenge rooms work?

I honestly can't figure it out. None of them that I've found make any sense at all.

Especially that one with all the platforms that takes 4 players. There's no sense of direction.

They all work in different ways.  They all have their own puzzle.  Some require speed, some require endurance, one requires teamwork (or Specters ;P) and one just requires Energy Restores frankly.

Coaction is pretty straightforward.  You need 2-4 players, with Loki, Saryn, etc. counting as 2.  1 actual player must stay on the first platform the whole time.

 

One platform in the room lights up.  Stand on it and keep it held down with a player or clone, and another one will light up.  Keep in mind there are also 4 in the lower areas of the corner that you can reach through a tunnel in the alcoves above them.  Once you get them all, several of the round platforms will form a wall going straight up into the middle room.  First player can move now.  Wall jump up these into the inside and hold down all 4 buttons at once to open the grate above you.  Bullet jump up through it and activate the stargate to your prize.
