The_Messenger
Does anyone know how the Tenno Gen cosmetic items are priced? I find it confusing that the alternate skin for Chroma costs less than and alternate helm for Atlas.
0 Zediex
I would guess it's because the helm is a completely new model while the skin is a retexture of an existing model.
0 Heckzu
If I recall correctly: Skins that don't alter the helmet's shape are priced at $4.99 USD Standalone helmets are priced at $5.99 USD Skins that alter the helmet's shape are priced at $6.99 USD The Chroma skin only retextures the default skin, so it's priced at $4.99 USD whereas the Atlas helmet is a standalone helmet, which is vastly different from existing in game helmets, so it's priced at $5.99 USD. 0 DeMonkey
For comparison OP look at official skins and helmets. An Immortal Skin is 40p, a helmet is 75p. As said by the others it's due to model replacements. Edited October 25, 2016 by DeMonkey
