The War Within Requirements

So do I just need to unlock the Sedna Junction and do the required quests or do I actually have to do every junction to unlock the War Within? (I started playing pre-starchart 3.0 and already unlocked every planet, except for Eris, so I never bothered to do many of the junctions.)

(I'm just wondering because of the videos on YouTube where some youtubers said conflicting things.)

All you need to do is complete the second dream quest and ONLY complete the sedna junction

Some of the youtubers made it sound like you had to do almost every quest and every junction no matter what to get the War Within so that's why I'm confused.

I'm pretty sure you just have to do the Junction, and I'm also pretty sure that you should do (or have done) The Second Dream in order to do The War Within when it comes.

I have the Second Dream completed, but I'm just worried about which junctions I'm supposed to do, just Sedna or every. Also, I never completed the New Strange, do you think that this quest will also be necessary? (They were talking about having to do several other quests besides the Second Dream to get the War Within during the videos.)

that's for the newbies, not vets. just unlock the sedna junction

I'm just nervous about the possibility of having to do all of the junctions because that would sort of be tedious if I already unlocked the Sedna one. (I have 2 or 3 of the 4 requirements for it right now)

So even if we have Pluto already unlocked, we still need to do the Junction, right?

I think that everybody is saying that we just have to do the Sedna junction.

The New Strange is a side-quest as it gives lore to chroma's origin so it doesn't play a big part of the lore but it does give more story to chroma (tl;dr, don't need to complete it.)

The only things required to start the War Within quest are to have the Second Dream and the Pluto - Sedna Junction completed.
The Youtubers only made things complicated for newer players, when there are only two things that need to be done.

Yes, you have to complete the junction to Sedna from Pluto.
Having all the planet nodes completed is different from having the junction completed. :P
