Can I use warframe exclusive mods on prime variants?

I joined Red Veil for Volt mods. Now I have also been saving up for Volt Prime.

Will I be able to use those mods on Volt Prime?

in my option, it's always best to have a frame equipped with a reactor, as it allows you to equipped higher ranker mods, making you frame tougher and able to handle higher level missions.

But with that said, I do now know personalty how Volt handles, and what sort of play style she is best suited for.

I would think she could be some what of a glass cannon, does lot's of damage, but not built to take many hits.  But I could be very wrong.

If possible it's best to have at least a potato in every basic frame if not available prime variants, it gives you the greatest variety of mod/power loadout combinations and by extension makes your arsenal more flexible to increasing difficulty.

Yes, you can use those mods. Potato your Prime if you like it. I love Volt (Prime) because he's fun and a great frame, so it was a no-brainer for me. But not everyone likes him. Its better to focus on the frames you do like before you do others.

If you don't want to spend plat on reactors, then use it on the frames you like best.
