Whats the fastest Warframe/Melee Weapons?

Hi!

As title says, im looking for the fastest warframe and melee combo, I just started the game (roughly 10 hours) and Im overwhelmed with all the options. Im just looking for the fastest melee and warframe so i can set them as my goals and farm for them

Anything helps, and thank you for your time

PS whats the best thing to spend on with the 50 starting plat?

The best way to spend the plat is on warframe slots and weapons slots. They are limited and mostly one of the many walls that you may hit playing for free.

Boy...Where to begin? One thing you'll quickly learn about Warframe is there's no easy absolutes in terms of weapons and frames. Having said that, I would advice you to get a Valkyr and some venkas if you want that wild cat slashing feel. Will that serve you in the long run? No, but you will learn and adapt as time goes on.

Fastest sprint speed Warframe is Loki, however Nezha is faster with the right mod combination due to his passive giving buffs to slide movement, so it comes down to wether or not you want to invisible, or be a frame that's a little tankier with some damage capabilities. Although you could do with looking at frames such a Volt or Nova that have abilities/augments that massively increase movement speed for yourself and your team.

The fastest melee is the Tipedo at 1.33 base attack speed, but again Volt and Valkyr have abilities that can give huge increases too attack speed. 

And remember that whilst your attack speed on paper may keep getting higher, how quick you can actually attack is limited by framerate so there becomes a point where there is no point in making it any faster.

As for your starting 50 plat I always recommend players to get 1 warframe slot and 2 sets of weapon slots so you have a bit more variety when starting out.

Tipedo or Lesion forgot which one but you need Tipedo to build Lesion anyway, but one of those is basicly the fastests weapon combined with speed mods even faster, overall naturaly daggers wohuld be the fastest.

Warframe wise, if you go for swords Excalibur does more damge with them, overall Rhino, Inaros, etc., the tanky ones.

as far as melee attack speed goes, valkyr and volt are the only options for increasing spd. the amount of attack spd increase depends on your power strength, maximum of 174.5% spd increase with 349% pwr str.
valkyrs speed buff does give additional armor, volts speed buff gives additional movespeed.

both of these frames are easily aquirable relatively early in the game, valkyr drops from the boss on jupiter, while volt can be aquired from the clan dojo.

the also both do have a prime version with slightly increased stats.

 

You also might want to mod with speed increasing mods on your weapon, namely "Fury" (30%) and especially "Berserker" (75%)

 

Even the slowest of weapons can hit incredibly fast with these setups. especially when you are in a group with both volt and valkyr. Actually the attack speed will be so high that it'll be close to impossible to pull of any melee combos or even mash the buttons fast enough for some weapons.

 

Hence you can pretty much choose any weapon and it will be decently fast. Since this is a while off tho...
the fastest weapons are generally dual daggers/swords, single handed daggers/swords, fists/claws and sparring weapons

They do however have a limited range.

A few weapons from different categories might also be decently fast, there are over 100 melee weapons in the game, so it might be hard to name all of them here.

Be advised that the attack speed might greatly differ depending on the used Stance mod for the weapon. For example the sword stance crimson dervish is extremely slow, to the point where valkyrs/volts speed buff barely makes it even bearable to begin with and thats despite swords usually being pretty fast.

base attack speed values are per category.

for example the galatine, a heavy blade weapon, has 1.0 attack speed while the fang, a dual dagger, has 0.917 atk spd
does that mean the fang is slower than galatine? hell nah

Tipedo and Prisma Skana are the fastest melees in-game. But if you want to buff the atk speed I warn you it's hard to control.

IMO when you just gotta go fast, run like the Flash and you want to still be able to hit all the things while doing it the answer is...

Volt + Shocking Speed + Ortho/Prime + Reach

A lot of weapons will cause you to slow down to melee but the Orthos will let you keep on keeping on. Reach gives it a crazy good area of effect.

Volt casts Speed because "gotta go fast" which boosts not only his movement speed but also his melee and even ranged weapon reload. The Shocking Speed augment mod means he literally sheds electricity which will shock enemies as you zip around past them, doing some damage but more importantly should give them a quick stun and hey it'll break containers (and those cheapskate Corpus windows=p) too.

So you Run Fast, Melee Fast, using a Fast Melee weapon that does not slow you down either. And you shed electricity doing some damage and CC which helps with his survivability.    

Both Volt and the Orthos are pretty easy to get.

And as Primes they're also pretty cheap/easy to get there too.
