telos boltor vs boltor prime

hey guys I would like to know if it is worth invest on the telos boltor, or wait for the unvault of the boltor prime, there are people saying that telos is a sidegrade of the boltor prime, what do you guys think?

Boltor Prime is superior in terms of direct damage to whatever is under your crosshair. The key thing to know is that the Prime gets to use Heavy Caliber almost "for free"; the accuracy penalty doesn't hurt it very much at all.  The Telos Boltor on the other hand is noticeably affected by the accuracy penalty.

However,

Telos is superior in terms of utility and AOE. Every time the proc goes off you get 25% of your total health restored, and all enemies in a rather large radius take a Gas proc which means it will end up doing far more damage with the AOE than other syndicates which are simple damage rather than a damage over time.

huumm but do you think that the telos is worth putting the forma? I am a bit unsure since, I dont see anyone talking about the telos or doing builds for it, everyone is like "BOLTOR PRIME GOD AND SAVIOR"

dude my favorite weapon is a braton prime and I use point strike, vital sense, and viral damage, I think I am strange enought to trust you xD

I wasn't in a super hurry to build the Telos, but with the addition of Rivens; it sparked my interest.

Here's what I'm currently running, its pretty fun, I'm doing 2k ish a bullet, and the AOE fires off pretty often.
