I like him but let's be honest, he's the Ana Amari of Warframe.

I thought so as well at first, but since you can't cast another or a new one while the first one is active, it does limit him quite a bit. If you're not in an open area, enemies will more often than not get stuck behind something and you'll either have to hunt them down or wait until you can pop a new one.

In the end, I'd much prefer a Rhino Stomp or Frost Avalanche with any decent range for actual CC purposes - It's just that the "Larva" ability makes things pretty darn convenient for him.
