RICK_BO
So Once upon a time, the Tenno all got together and put up big friendly Relays for everyone to hang out in and have a good time. But Councilor Vay Hek was not invited so he threw a Biiiig fit and sent his Balor Fomorians to destroy these Humble Houses of the Tenno. The Tenno worked hard to stop these Balor Fomorians but many relays did not survive. Even now, there is progress being made on new Fomorians and Razorbacks to attack the few remaining Relays. My proposal is this; Just as the Corpus and the Grineer invade territories of the other to gain an upperhand in this long drawn out war; with progress made towards their respective war machines. So too may the Lotus and her Tenno invade, on planets where a relay was lost, that they may rebuild their Hubs of Friendship and peace. But The war leaders know "the best way to fight tenno is to offer them a reason to fight for you" So while the lotus may not be able to offer as much in terms of battle pay (small credit bundles, Uncommon/rare resources) The Corpus and the Grineer have much larger stores they may withdraw from (Detonite, Fieldron, Vandal or Wraith parts) But these Invasion battles are winner takes all. Will you help the Lotus to rebuild the Tenno relays; working hard for a pittance, or would you let your greed consume you to hold back the Tenno such that you may gain hold of the Valuables dangled before your eyes by the leaders of the opposition. RICK_BO
And now without storyteller mode: Include Tenno as a faction in invasions on planets that contain a destroyed Relay. Working for the tenno faction holds smaller battle pay rewards. but increases production on restoring that planets relay. Working Against the Tenno yields greater pay from either the Grineer, Corpus, (or, somehow the Infested) but halts repairs on the relay. Rewards should be weighted in favour of the opposing faction. (10k credits vs 2 fieldron, 1-3 Neurodes vs a vandal part, a Lith Relic vs an Axi Relic) If the Tenno are successful in their invasion; the opposing faction withdraws their rewards. If the opposing faction is successful; no progress is made in the repairs. Like current invasions; rewards are held until the completion of the invasion. (XBOX)Agent Hodor
This could also become the resource sink DE has to be looking for since all the veterans have so many resources saved up. Allow us to donate resources to rebuild relays just like we do in the dojo for research projects. Or instead of just donating to build, we could donate to start up these Tenno invasion missions that would give us building progress on the destroyed relays. RICK_BO
Hmm, Perhaps a donation barrel that, when filled, prompts a Tenno invasion. I think it would be cool to have a hidden resource cache that Tenno could donate to; once per mission, hidden on that planets mission tiles. Interact with it to "Donate x [resource]"
RoniLumen
I'd like the idea of relay reconstruction. Today I looked up why the Strata relay is a floating pile of rubble. I'm MR23 with an abundant inventory, I'd definitely contribute to relay reconstructions.
Phatose
Why, exactly, would I choose to help rebuild the relays? They're all identical. What's the point?

Well there is the completionist goal of having all relays active again for bragging rights. Getting to spit in Vay Hek's face that we can rebuild what he tried to tear down. And finally the relays have mastery rank locks associated with them, so rebuilding lower MR locked relays would give Baro more places to come to that newer players can access. kyori
Before any of these might happen.... DE needs to solve the relay memory issue for many players affected.
