A question about Sonicor Status chance

So I know that when viewed in the Arsenal, the Sonicor has 0% status chance. But after looking at the wiki and watching a few videos, I found that the AOE attack of the Sonicor has a separate set of stats, with a base 25% status chance.

(quoted from the wiki):

AoE Attacks
Physical Damage 50.0  Impact 50.0  Crit Chance 10.0%  Crit Multiplier 2.0x Status Chance 25.0%

So my question is: Do status mods like Pistol Pestilence and whatnot affect the status chance of the AOE explosion itself? Because I'd rather not run with a pure-damage build, due to its innate lack of scaling.

Yes, it will increase the status proc chance of the AoE.

I guess it does, since I'm using 2-3 dual stats elemental mods and it procs (almost) everytime, and not just Impact procs.

Sonicor is my "happy time" love child of a weapon, even after all this time it brings a smile to my face sending enemies flying  "TO THE MOON!!"

great for interceptions when paired with invis build loki, they want the terminal. NO! they get a free trip to the moon MUH HAHAHAHA!!
