1. Use only your Melee weapon. Be sure to use a quick one and not a heavy one that has slow swings. Speed will be your advantage in this fight.
2. Attack its legs. The Jackal uses its legs to stomp on the ground sending a powerful shockwave that'll send you flying. The shockwaves can't and won't affect you while you're swinging your melee weapon. So keep attacking one leg.
3. When one leg is down, the Jackal will fall, that'll be your chance to attack it, but be quick about it, because only in a matter of seconds, the leg regenerates.
4. Rinse and Repeat if the leg regens before you kill it.
