I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Greetings, Buff00n, Lord of the Tenno bards. 

Hey, man. I've waited a solid 6 months before pestering you for some more tunes (I promise no Tool,  this time). I've been obsessing over the new Periphery album, and was curious if you could transform any of the following sections into mandrachord. I have no preference on which; I trust your judgement on what would sound/work the best.

Hi there! Loving your work so far! I was just wondering if it would possible for you to do United States of Smash from My Hero Academia.

I don't have very high hopes as the instruments seem a bit wrong for mandachord, and the time signature seems wrong for it as well, but I figured if anyone would be able to do it, it would be you.

Wow, I’m taken aback by the work you have done here. I can’t believe I’m posting some suggestions as my music taste is like my guilty pleasure, but here goes. (I tried my best to check and see if these were already done or suggested so I’m sorry if you have seen these before or if they can’t be done.) I'll also post the time at which the chorus of each song is to try and help a bit, obviously feel free to stray if the chorus is just out of the question.

1) Chung Ha - Gotta Go (0:40)
2) Sunmi - Heroine (1:30)

I can kind of hear how the first two might be possible, but I’ll come out of left field with this one:

3) Grant - Wishes (2:00)

Again, sorry if you look at those and go, this guy must be stupid if he thinks this is possible I’m honestly just fascinated with this project of turning community suggestions into Mandachord songs it’s so wholesome! I hope you still find joy from doing this and haven't got burnt out after all this time.

Year, there are one or two spots that might have had a chance, but the 6/8 time smashes it.

Interesting, the first two are almost exactly the same melody in slightly different keys.  It's like they plagiarized themselves.  Neither of them work.  The third one does, though.
