To request a song, fill in the 'Answer this question' box at the bottom of the page and click 'Submit Reply'.

I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

The OP was officially too big to update any more, so I have moved the song list into my comments on the first page of this thread. 

I had eight comments on the first page, so I re-purposed them and split up the song list into sections.  These links will take you to the specific comment, but they're all on the same page so you can still search for everything in one place.

      • Small edit: I went back through it, and 0:19 - 0:27 is a better- sounding version compared to 0:05 (Where I originally linked it). Would that still work? Of course if you find a better way to work with / represent the song, by all means.

Sorry, you put a lot of thought into that but I could tell pretty much instantly that it's not going to work.  It's in the Locrian Sharp 6 scale, which I actually had to look up because it's super weird.

Dang. That is interesting to learn about though!

  • I did recently get Octavia Prime started in the foundry, so perhaps there's still no harm in trying to make something similar when she's finished. It'd be a decent way to start practicing with the Mandachord I think.

I'm doing requests on Fridays (and sometimes other days if I'm behind), but you can place your request any time.
