I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Separating out bass and drums can be tough, but one trick is to listen to it on crappy laptop or phone speakers that can't do low frequencies as well.  Losing low frequency fidelity tends to mute bass more than it does percussion.

You can kind of fake held melody notes with the Adau melody because it's so mushy, just repeat the same note.  However, Adau is *so* mushy that you pretty much *have* to do that in order to hear it at all.  With everything else it's not really worth it.

The original's key is a little fluid, it modulates from Em to Bm and back.  My opinion is your selection fits better when you treat it as Bm and transpose up a minor third:

I usually make people wait two weeks before doing another request for them, but I have an ulterior motive for doing Payday 2 songs.  At some point I'm going to be making a How To Spy video and the soundtrack is going to be all Payday 2 :wink:

Right quick, I had an earworm, "Piercing Light" (from some League of Legends album release, can't remember which one), that I managed to punch into both the switch and xbox warframe logins that I made. How would I submit them to you so you could post the song? 

Edit: I'm an idiot. I also recorded the switch on my phone playing the song. Youtube is acting stupid and saying there's an internal error. It's my first upload, but here it is.

Nice song, but this is just a thread for me to post my own stuff and take requests.  There really isn't a place for collecting random Mandachord tunes; unfortunately the megathread got archived a little while ago.

Okay, look, I can do a handful of Shawzin requests a week, but it's time consuming and there's absolutely no way I will be able to keep up with demand.  I have to pick and choose.  If I notice a request is repeated a lot or gets a bunch of upvotes then I'll pay attention, otherwise I got other stuff to do.  It's not really fair making a thread for it because I'll have to ignore most of it.

That's perfect! Hell, I would be honored if you fixed the song your way. The main reason I looked into it was that it perfectly looped, but if you made it better that would be badass. Also kinda looked cheesy with a cellphone video and getting all blurry and stuff.

Hellow, this thread is a gold mine. Just found it few days ago and tried over creating different songs, all my respects

May I ask if you're able to create any part of this one? Queens Of The Stone Age - No One Knows

And also interested for future about  Fall Out Boy - Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea 
I saw plenty of FOB band songs, but not this one. Is it suitable for mandachord?
