I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Hmm. Buff00n, long time viewer & listener here. Think you could try your hand at a mandy loop of the main portion of Jasper Kyd's Corruption Melody? If not, that's fine. I've tried it myself and failed miserably, but perhaps you can weave some magic!

I think you'll understand the portion I mean just from listening. There are many variations, but a good sample starts at 1:20 here:

PS, your work is incredible, and I really think your channel functions as this beautiful archive of one person pulling out the core of each piece of music, and your efforts are awesome.

I'm out until June 5th, but I have contests and a original tune lined up on my YouTube channel for while I'm gone.

Go ahead and leave your requests, but if it's too much to catch up on after I get back then don't get mad if I ask a bunch of you to come back later.

You can do the bass and melody perfectly, but you have to transpose them to two different keys.  Luckily that's not something people seem to notice
