I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

  • Everyone gets one, if I can.
  • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
  • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
  • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
• No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
• If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
• Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
• "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
• I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

Q : Octavia Prime is vaulted, how do I get the Bombast instrument set?
A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

• Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
• Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
• Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

They're okay.  They aren't what anybody was asking for, but more variety is better.  

Both percussions are solid.  I'll probably use them a lot.

Epsilon bass is fairly mushy; you have to separate notes by about three spaces to prevent them interfering with each other.  It also has an interestingly weak attack; you sometimes have to place it one space before where you want it to actually sound to make it sound right.  Still, useful under the right conditions.

Epsilon Melody is fairly obnoxious.  I'll use it when the source material calls for something similarly obnoxious, like a saxophone.

Plogg Bass is pretty good.  It's like a tighter version of Gamma, but not as tight as Druk.  It's a nice alternative to Druk when it doesn't need to go super fast.

Plogg Melody is distinctive, for sure.  It doesn't sound like anything else, and really stands out in-game.  Unfortunately, most of the real world songs you hear with a clean guitar sound work terribly on the Mandachord because of the note limitation.  Still, it's a solid melody with a somewhat longer decay; I've already used it once.
