a quick question why dont people come with cp when the last sortie is a lvl 100 boss?

in a pub match i find most come with random auras making it harder for the team to kill the boss

Three possible reasons:

1. They can't because their aura polarity is not a dash.
2. They believe the aura they're using will help them, true or not.
3. They are confident in their loadout that it will kill the boss.

4. They have Trin (EV ignores armor) or Oberon (Smite does percentage of health as damage) or Ash (seeking shuriken strips armor completely even with just Intensify)

but i hardly c these frames on ps4 assasinations. 4 cps just makes the job a lottt quicker

or i have mutalist cernos that will remove armor in 5 seconds

6. They may not own the mod.

7. they may have forgot to swap to it, or just cannot be bothered changing.

8. they are a pub that exactly fits the joking stereotype of utter incompetence.

9. they may think that the odds of the other 3 members using it are too low to bother with it.

In my case, I'm still adjusting to the Zenurik focus, so a lot of my frames are still running Energy Siphon instead of Corrosive Projection. I was in a bit of a rush when I chose my initial Focus school, so I went with Madurai. It's only in the last week or so that I've switched over, and it's taking some getting used to.

I don't think any sortie boss really needs 4 CP all of them are easy to take down without it

Don't expect a fully optimized team when tagging with the Matchmaking. I often see people picking Elemental/Physical stuff on Elemental/Physical enhancement conditions, and that's perfectly fine if we succeed in the end (well, even if we don't, that's still a game where you're free to play whatever you want to).

We clearly didn't have the optimized setup for Kela yesterday, and I have to say it was a lot more fun that if we were. Because one-shotting a boss Mesa-like is efficient for sure, but fun ? Maybe not.
