How to break these caches in void?

I have always been wondering.... how do I break these caches? It looks like these   caches are in the ball but neither explosive weapons nor melee ground smashes can break them.

I have tried to find the location of these caches online but haven't came into any discussions about them.

There is a round "button" on the floor in the center of the room, once you step on it, it will open those spheres for a few seconds, exposing containers.

There's a pressure plate on the ground, once you step on it, the spheres open the lower part for about 3s, during which you can destroy the crates. Once the spheres close again you can't collect the loot inside without Vacuum or destroy the crates without an explosive weapon with Fire Storm or any weapon with Punch Trough. Be wary of the Death Orbs on the ground though, because once you step on the pressure plate they will activate.

If you step on the Pad in the middle of the room (between the stairs, at the bottom of the pit), one or both of the balls will open. Its random wich and if any.

Also, weapons with punchtrough can pierce the balls and then you can vacuum the drops.

Just as an addendum/correction to this:

If you destroy the crates in the orbs, but the orbs close before the loot drops out, you can nab the loot trapped inside reliably using a sentinel with Vacuum - just jump up close enough and the sentinel will suck the items out through the orbs.  You may also be able to touch the bottom of the closed orbs and grab the loot through the orb, but this isn't 100% and may get you teleported back down to floor-level.

wondering if primed reach could do the trick maybe on orthos prime ;)

For something else that can reach the crates within the orbs even when they're closed, try a gentle misting of the Ignis or Ignis Wraith - no mods even necessary, its inherent AoE and punchthrough is more than enough to crack the crates.

AoE Abilitys or Weapons are the best with a sentinel with Vacuum equipped and jump high near to it to collect it. As the others said, button on the floor, but to my knowledge it only opens always one.
