Perhaps not re-programmed but brainwashed?

Reprogramming someone is a colorful way of saying brainwash. Think of the Bourne movies if you've seen them.

There is another useful bit of information about the Stalker: He, she, or it is highly technically capable. Hunhow pulled the location of the Moon in the Void from the Lotus' mind, and based on that, the Stalker was able to forge a new Void Key to access the cloaking tower. Based on what we know, that's like someone drawing you a picture of an airfield and you then using that information to hit the control tower with a cruise missile from over the horizon.

That is a rather impressive feat of Stalker. Makes me speculate on various reasons for Stalker having access to that knowledge.

That trailer definitely makes things interesting. If Harrow has been active since the collapse, alone, that makes two independant "warframes" operating on their own, Stalker and Harrow.

Could be they have been playing cat and mouse this whole time, but something tells me Harrow has been... busy... elsewhere. The shadows and silhouettes in the trailer look decidedly human, and not warped by infestation. Perhaps he has been preventing "void seepage" this whole time.

Stalker, what makes him a warframe acting on its own? Chroma during New Strange maybe, but Hunhow refers to Stalker as if he were in the same boat as us as does Lotus earlier in the quest.

Yes and hun how didn't know the warframe could move on their own so, he isn't exactly the best source if info. Also you forgot to mention titinia and intros when they were doing their own thing.

This is an interesting line of thought because i feel like it can be speculated on in some interesting ways, with what happened at the end of The War Within and the voice.

The Void is described as another reality, and perhaps in that reality, the things that aren't prominent in the 'default' reality are mostly expressed there. Perhaps the Void is something like a mirror where the other side is allowed to exist. Maybe whatever the Zariman Children experienced cause their Shadow to be expressed in the Void, so it is no longer bound to their subconscious mind, in order to mirror their conscious mind. The Shadow becoming an existing entity with a connection to the other consciousness, but it isn't quite whole, so it tries to get into the other reality's body.

I'm pretty much making the assumption that the voice was the Tenno's Shadow, that until recently, only remained trapped in the Void and used the Warframe as a medium to interact with the plane of existence that we are familiar with. I'm really excited to see what this quest really has in store.

Inaros was likely still controlled by his operator originally before being placed in the Tomb after his operator was stasis'd or dead. What we fought in the tomb was just the warframe with perhaps an echo of its previous user. Titania could have been remotely controlled by Tenno or partially by Sylvanna's own consciousness as the bio-engineer did need warframes to filter the process enough usually to not kill herself. Being merged with dirt and bio-matter probably messed up her perception of the Dax attack anyway. And did Lotus not know about how warframes work? She said Stalker went inside when he first learned the nature of the Reservoir. I don't think a creature designed to not have its own will, as both infested and Hunhow mention, would go mad from the revelation.

It is possible that void echos of the operators of a warframe can be connected to a warframe but we don't really know why exactly why a creature that even other infested call an 'Empty hollow shell' can act with what seems to be on its own; or even rather if it was. All of these situations could have been something akin to us reaching through for empty receptacles. Would it be better if creatures designed without will suddenly manifest it, or for these golems to get new marching orders?
