Redeemer and Sarpa still broken - unable to do elemental damage

Can we please have a fix for gunblades? 

Redeemer and Sarpa don't do elemental damage except for corrosive and blast properties on close range shot.. 

Blast properties however, allow for infinite ragdolls on most enemies.

It's a bitter-sweet trade which I personally hate as it is now. 

Can we have at least some kind of confirmation from DE on these mechanics - if they are intended or not? They seem bugged for me.

EDIT: I managed to proc radiation icon but enemies do not behave like having a status. Also, Condition Overload and Enduring Afflicion seem to no affect Redeemer and Sarpa. 

Please investigate.

Absolutely, also +1 for Op.

 

Redeemer is kinda strong though, from stealth you can do OHKs to level 150 gunners, I'd really like to see a primed gunblade some time.
