Do solo games count for leaderboards?

Just curious because I've been wanting to do a long survival run, and being able to pause the game to get a drink / take a break would be nice.

Yes, they do.

If I'm not wrong, there is a leaderboard per squad size. (So, 4 for regular missions and 8 for Raids)

Unless you have different types of leaderboards on the PC, which is possible, you are incorrect.  On the consoles, at least, our Leaderboard is just selecting a mission and then being shown a list for the week of the highest times/waves.  It doesn't differentiate between groups or single players other than showing the different times and making it easy to pick out said solo players (because they will be the only ones who are at that specific time in most cases).

I'm pretty sure they do. Granted it was super long time ago I soloed xini Eris for 60 some waves with booben and a Penta to prove to some people how op booben was against infested. Long story short it popped up on the leaderboard under my clan's name.

Clarification

I am 100% positive that leaderboards will rank Solo players. I do a lot of build tests in Solo and end up ranking often.

Leaderboards reset every week though so it serves even less purpose than normal leaderboard which are seasonal.
