Did the mission several times everyone had a mic and 3 of 4 were clan leaders. (myself included) we all went to our dojos and wouldn't you know it! It isn't dropping.

Did you start the project, target right type of enemy and collected/pickup the pigments.

I had hard time also farming that.

Get Smeeta Kavat and Resource Chance Booster and Double Booster

It drop one time 8 pigment per person so if you run with 4 it will be 24 each (when it does drop)

I farmed this not long ago solo, and Vey Hek definitely did not drop a pigment every time. It may be purely coincidental, but it seemed like when I killed him as soon as he switches to his last form without giving him a chance to move at all, that I might not get anything...worth a try?

One thing I noticed with pigments is that they don't (at least didn't) drop for each person the way everything else does.  There will be a drop for each person whose clan needs it and then it's first come, first served.  When it was just myself and one clanmate we'd get 2 every time but one of us would get them both.  If we played with a friend from another clan then there would be 3 pigments but his Carrier stole them all.
