Marvelous_A
If you wall run on right hand side it will show mirrored animation (i.e. as if you are wall running on left hand side). You can try it in your dojo. I'm pretty sure it's glitched. Edited September 4, 2017 by Marvelous_A
NinthAria
It's been like this for a while now. I suspect the fix is proving elusive, because I know I've seen it reported in a lot of the hotfix update threads and elsewhere. With any luck they'll get to it soon. I haven't paid attention to this until I suddenly realize it today. Weird. Edited September 4, 2017 by Marvelous_A

Navarc
Well, wallrunning isn't in the game anymore now it's wallhopping. But yes, sometimes it's flipped when you turn around and some walls don't flip the character correctly. So it happens pretty often. DE is probably aware at this point after.. 2ish years of reports but I haven't seen them having even plans to improve on it or revert it to wallrunning.
