Blast and Corrosive are effective against their health type too. Here's the wiki page on the Ancient Healer. If enemies are next to the Ancient Healer, the Ancient will give a 90% damage reduction aura to them, making them almost invulnerable. That's why most people kill the Healer 1st if it's inside a big crowd of enemies. 0 NeoSmile Posted September 24, 2017 Share Posted September 24, 2017 yeah those guys have an aura that not only gives all their allies (exept other healers, thank the stars) incredible damage reduction as well as the fact that any status effects afflicted will be send towards the healer (so with a high amount of slash procs sometimes a random healer in the area dies :P) btw they even use a healing pulse sometimes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've always thought it was to make itself known to players. Also, 100% status chance blast Tigris in a group is a great way to find the ancient.
