Are you able to take apart a Zaw?

Question

I was under the impression for PoE that the zaw would essentially be a modular weapon that we could take parts off of and put new parts on whenever we wanted similar to the Aug rifle in real life. now as i finally get the chance to build my first one it tells me that my parts will be consumed upon use.

will i be able to take them apart later for re-use? if not then i'm not sure i want to go through all the trouble of building a bunch of zaws just to get the mastery rank for all the strikes.

It couldn't be done for a simple logic reason:

IF you leveled a zaw and guild it, then you will replace a part of it, it wouldn't fit as this part is level 0 not guilded, and the weapon would loose balance

once a zaw is guilded, you cannot un guild again to replace a part

No, I think it could be done. Maybe not completely disassembling, but I feel like simply swapping out a part should easily be done, since it's only the strike that gains mastery and holds all the forma.

If it's more complex than that, I would have no problems with having to relevel the strike, as long as I could reuse it for another weapon setup
