Now sure, if they release an Ogris Prime anytime soon I'll be enraged... (mine is Polarized 6 times, after all) But I won't be holding back. And besides, it's not like they'll be releasing them in the next few months. Unless you're favorite frame is Mag, which is the next Prime, I wouldn't hold back your Generators. Clantech and stalker weapons will probably be an exception. OP, if you are willing to put the effort into it then you can go right ahead and work up to getting prime gear only. And should whatever preferred item be available eventually as prime, it could be tomorrow, it could be next summer. Will there be skin stats the primes never get. Time will tell. Unless your just grabbing at Mastery's and want to make it a tiny bit easier. As for Warframe's though, no, the Prime warframes are rather meek (polarity slot of a Prime can be 'caught up to', just grab a forma and choose one -you- actually want instead of what's preset in a Prime warframe. and THEN you don't get restricted into a gold color scheme, win win win win.) If it's infested, corpus, grineer based - wait for it in the Clan Dojo at the moment, those can't get a Prime - such as Gorgan being updated by Supra, snipertron/valk/SV updated by Lanka. ... anddd even if a Prime does come out for your Orokin based weapon, theres always a chance you'll get hit by a Vandal that at least temporarily out paces a Prime until they 'rebalance' it.
